A day spent at home in the studio just screen printing whatever I felt like. Feels good. Hope to do this at least one day a week this year. Reminding me that it's all about the process.
Ps. Note to self: Kittens and screen printing don't mix......let's say it got a little messy.

Yes but image if you screen printed kitten paws, how cute would that be? You are very creative Ms Campton and you are right, we should all find a day to refine our process, wise words x
ReplyDeleteHaHa. That's what I was thinking too! Except he may escape onto the carpet before I wash the paint off. Not sure my landlord would see the artistic benefit of that! He was asleep cuddling your toy for hours today. Don't think he knows he's meant to chase it, not cuddle it.xx
ReplyDeleteur prints look really lovely genna - i agree kitten paw prints would be adorable

ReplyDeleteYes, printing on kittens can be problematic at the best of times. Did you make sure they were securely bolted down?
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful! What type/size screen print do you use? I've been gocco-ing all week! its definitely messy business ;^)
ReplyDeleteThanks Eirian! I've been wanting to try gocco for a long time now. It gives such beautiful results. The screen I used for these prints is one made for paper printing, the size is 35cm x 45cm the mesh size is 110T. Hope that helps :)
